Increasing productivity has been on my mind lately, especially as my music tuition has picked up in the new academic year so I have less time to spend on my other creative pursuits.

A recent FEU Training webinar pointed out the difference between productivity and busywork.  It was not something I had consciously considered before and, after having a think, I realised that unfortunately writing lengthy blog posts each week falls into the ‘busywork’ category. It takes time away from composing and other music making.

Don’t worry! I’ll still be sharing what I’m up to, but it will be in the format of more recent posts rather than a long post on one topic. I hope that you enjoy seeing more of what I’m creating. After all, I’m not a professional writer and would rather be sharing and spending time on more musical content!
