Sometimes WIP Wednesday is less about the progress you’ve made on a project and more about things getting in the way of finishing a project…

Manchester is a very rainy city. I don’t mind it usually – I’m ginger and hot weather is not my friend – but when I’m trying to record things it’s very annoying. Last Friday I had scheduled a day of recording to try and post some new violin pieces by Sunday…but the weather had different ideas!

So what did I do? Recorded the rain, of course! I used some recordings from an abandoned project and created a new piece of music. I’ve called it ‘Rain 1’ because I’m sure this won’t be the last time this happens!

I’m away this week so the new violin pieces mentioned above should be out by 3rd September.
