You may have noticed that my NaNoWriMo project hasn’t been going so well this year. It’s partly my fault. Even though I had another composition to finish, I thought I could juggle both projects and this may have worked had it not been for the awful cold that struck me down at the end of November. I’ve heard people say that you should plan projects as if you will be ill – last month really drove this idea home. So next year, I will clear any other projects off my plate before November. NaNoWriMo has become a valuable time for me to explore and I want to give it the time it deserves.
But I have not given up on this year! To account for the days when I was unable to work on this album, I have extended my deadline to 14th December. As always, the result will be available on Bandcamp on a pay-what-you-want basis (including free!).
Have you ever found yourself with more work than you can handle? What did you do about it? I’d love some tips for the next time this happens!
